Seven year old Vibe lives with her grandparents. On the weekends, she travels over 100 kilometers to visit with her parents. The magic of childhood slowly fades to make way for reality. It is at this turning point, the film maker asks her how this all came to be. The answer leads him from the idyllic landscapes of Moerkerke to Vibe’s mother, his sister, Britt. She lives behind closed curtains, isolated from the outside world. In an audiovisual play of seeing and being seen, of words and silence, he joins mother and daughter in an indirect dialogue. Through it, he tries to answer Vibe’s questions – as well as a few of his own
